Admissions to Bangalore Steiner School is now OPEN for Academic Year 2026-27 (for all grades).
Our Admission Process
01.
Attendance to Open Day sessions by parents
As the first step towards our admission process, you are required to attend our Open Day session. It is mandatory for both parents to attend this sessions (either together or separately). Once we receive your request through the enquiry form link (at the bottom of this page), we will send you details of the Open Day session.
Understanding Steiner education philosophy at a reasonable level to determine if it resonates with you - is the first step in our Enrolment exploration process for parents. For a successful parent-school partnership in the years to come, it is important that parents have the enthusiasm and commitment to transform their own aspirations, lifestyle and parenting to support the journey of the child at the school. These Open Day sessions focus on the philosophy, curriculum and more importantly on Parenting. It has been designed to answer the ‘Why’ of Steiner (Waldorf) education and the roles parents play in this journey with their child. We hope that this session will help you connect better with the philosophy of Steiner education through an understanding of the developmental stages of a child. This session will give you an opportunity to interact with the school staff and get their ideas and thoughts about the journey of parents in the school.

The teachers of the school will provide you an overview of Steiner's education. They inform you of our approach towards education and the child. You will also get a glimpse into how the Steiner-Waldorf curriculum is delivered in the classroom by teachers, a display of classroom work, a school tour, and an overview of the history, management, and life path of our school initiative.
Attendance of these sessions fullyis essential for parents to make an informed choice for their child’s education at Bangalore Steiner School. It is applicable for high school aspirant parents as well to understand the philosophy behind Why we do What we do in high school as well.

Please note that children are strictly not allowed for this session (except if you are applying for our High School).
