Yo's visit to BSS recently

What a surprise on the 11th of September! Our ex-student who had to leave in the middle of grade 8, due to unforeseen circumstances and move back to Japan with her family, came to visit us. Ten years have gone by, yet Yo remembered fondly her life at BSS and India.

At present, she is studying International Relations in a Master's programme at the University of Tokyo. A confident young woman now!

She also took time out, to speak to our grade 10 students. She told them that she is interested in researching about the economically weaker section in our country. She spoke with conviction and passion and had the students listening to her in rapt attention. She met many of the other high school students, and interacted with them. Grade 12+ wanted to know more about her sister Hiyori who was in their class, then.

Yo took a tour of the whole school, a first time in this campus. She was so happy to be at BSS, meet us, as we were to meet her! Our good wishes are with her in the future and we shall definitely meet her again when she is in India.
