Scrabble workshop at BSS

A Day of Words, Wit, and Wonder :

It was an invigorating three hours for the students of Grades 6 and 7 today as they immersed themselves in the world of Scrabble. For some, it was their very first encounter with the game, while others had the opportunity to sharpen the skills they had been building at home.

Siddharth, a professional Scrabble player, kept the students engaged throughout the workshop. He challenged them with puzzles, introduced them to game strategies, and encouraged them to think critically, all while ensuring there was plenty of fun and laughter. Siddharth, in turn, was thoroughly impressed by the students. He described them as curious, intelligent, and polite. They asked thoughtful questions, eagerly clarified their doubts, and embraced every challenge with enthusiasm.

As the workshop came to an end, one student's comment summed up the spirit of the day: "I'm going to start studying the dictionary every day!" It was truly a delightful day, watching children so completely engrossed in words, logic, and learning.

Experiences like these remind us that learning is at its best when curiosity, challenge, and joy come together. Here's hoping this is just the beginning of many more exciting Scrabble games and perhaps even a few future champions
