Weaving her imagination

Spotted this grade 3 child outside my classroom weaving leaves using a few broomsticks and leaves she had collected during the fruit break. This is my conversation with her:

Me: Wow! That is so beautiful! How did you learn to do this?

her: I do not know It. came from my imagination.

It is so fascinating to observe children at play. Growing up in the midst of nature fuels the imagination of a child in magical ways and to think it is in grade 3 the child starts to weave. Feeling blessed to witness all this.
